WORKSHOPS & EVENTS

AUGUST

When you think of Carnival, you might picture feathers, basslines, and streets alive with colour. But behind the spectacle lies a deep tradition. One of resistance, rhythm, and reverence. Born in Trinidad & Tobago, Carnival is not just a party, it’s a powerful reclaiming of joy, freedom, and identity.

In this 90-minute workshop, Zaz becomes your storyteller and guide.

She’ll begin by weaving the myths, legends, and ancestral threads of Carnival, sharing the roots of its music, movement, and magic.

From there, we’ll flow into a soulful, liberating yoga practice that celebrates what it means to move freely in your body, with all its strength, softness, and spirit.

This is yoga as celebration. Yoga as rebellion. Yoga as homecoming.

All bodies, all backgrounds, welcome to the story.

This is an opportunity to learn about the main pillars of somatic yoga and how they can benefit your wellbeing by helping you become more present, regulated and self-aware.

This may be your first introduction to somatic yoga, or you may be practicing but want to better understand the mind-body process.

Greater understanding can often lead you to drop deeper into the practice, as well as bringing the principles into your daily life.

Sunday 31st August - 13:30pm

2 hr Workshop - £35pp

Our events are where movement meets meaning. From transformative workshops to live music flows, community circles to the opportunity to deepen your knowledge.

Each gathering is designed to connect you more deeply with yourself and the people around you. Whether you’re here to learn, explore, or just feel something new, there’s space for you here.
